Day 582

Mario got a statue of himself today. I kinda want a statue of myself as well.

But I have no idea where I would put it. It would probably also be as gaudy as possible and entirely unrealistic. Maybe I'll put it outside of a vegetarian restaurant. Or some place that only serves shit made out of soy. Or outside of the PETA office.

Oh wait... I already have one a statue of myself. The statue of Atlas holding the world in Rockefeller Center. That was totally me. I just don't like to take credit for it. Cause I'm humble like that.

Also... it was life size. I just decided to make myself the size of regular humans again so you all didn't feel as intimidated.

I always hated the way this one came out

But I think it might be time for another statue of me as well.

 I don't count all of those bad ones in churches. They totally got the look wrong. I mean... seriously... sandals? Fuck that noise. And they grabbed me for that whole crucifixion thing right after I got out of the shower... I was planning on wearing jeans and boots that day. But NO! those fucking romans couldn't wait 10 minutes for me to throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that said "Soon to be an Internet meme"

But I totally did lose a bet and was wearing a crown of thorns. That shit hurt.

So where should the next statue of me be located? And what should it be of? What kind of accomplishment should be represented in it? What iconic pose.

I'm thinking sitting on my couch with a beer in hand and a cigarette in another. And my dog hanging out with me. That's kind of the iconic Joe. But I might want to wait until I'm Old Man Joe before I do that one.

Or maybe with my fat ass throwing a flogger over one shoulder, my gigantic swinging privilege over the other, and a cigarette in my mouth.
