Random Thought Of The Day #414

Day 414

Yeah, I kinda got nothing today. No inspiration at all this morning.

It's strange how many thoughts you can have streaming around in your head that would make a fun or amusing or just ridiculous blog post one day and then be totally blank the next morning.

I know that a solution to that would be to write them all when they're in my head but that would kinda defeat the purpose of this being a random thought of the day. It would be from yesterday or the day before and it wouldn't be random. Hence... you know... not quite a RTOTD.

I could talk about the nice time I had last night with a crazy cute girl that I don't see nearly often enough that I've had a crush on (on and off) for a few years now. Or getting together with a bunch of ElitistFucks tonight for our non-munch... but neither of them make for anything worth reading. Granted, the crap that I've posted thus far don't really make for anything worth reading either, but I guess that's the nature of the beast. Sometimes, you just don't have anything worth saying.

I could sit here and talk about a douche-rocket politician with an ironic name tossing pictures of his junk on the internet, but I'm pretty sure every joke possible on that one has already been made.

Or I could even ramble about how oddly difficult it was to find audio of bat noises on youtube last night to see how the actual bats flying around on the mountain would react. But even that's not terribly amusing.

Yeah, I guess this goes to show... you can't hit a homerun every time you get to the plate. Or even have something interesting to say 5 days a week before 9am. I guess I could just start writing this later in the day if I don't have anything interesting to say this early or at all that day...

Oh, I do have one minor thing to talk about...

I'm really curious how many people stopped reading this during the break between Day 400 and Day 401. And I'm also curious how many other people stopped reading when it was moved away from FetLife. Even with me posting the link to the daily update every day on there? Or if the content quality has dropped (excluding today... this was a waste of space today) recently.

I ask because the comments section, both here and on FetLife, have been pretty much barren and before the break, it seemed as though there were almost always at least a handful of comments.

No big deal either way... I'm just trying to figure out if the traffic has dropped off since then. I had no idea how many page views it got on FL, but I do know here that it's been averaging between 40 and 60/day almost every day and the comments have been dead.

So feel free to comment on that..

And this whole thing probably bored you to death to read today... I'll give you some more daily Deadpool to make it worth it...

And that's why we should all aspire to be more like Deadpool.
