There's always been another way to hire girls to do girlfriend-like things for you. It's called hookers. Cause they're providing the only really girlfriend-like duty that matters, right? I mean... it IS called "The Girlfriend Experience", isn't it?
But it's apparently a site mostly made up for teenagers and younger people. So they can seem "cool". And it's online-only. I can't put my finger on EXACTLY why, but this creeps me out. Like... a lot.
Maybe it's this whole "teaching girls to basically prostitute themselves to boys from a young age" or something. And while, far be it from me from complaining about anything that could potentially create a larger quantity of whorish girls once they reach about 22, I just think this is kinda crossing a fucking line. Something seems just... wrong... about it.
Maybe it's that slippery slope thing? Like... ok, paying for a pretend internet girlfriend at 14... buying hookers at 17 or 18. Or from the girl's side... it's OK to take cash to send someone a txt and pretend to be their girlfriend on facebook... somehow, I have a feeling that this can only lead to stripping or posting a "massage" ad on CraigsList that offers the Full Girlfriend Experience.
But that's just me.
Am I the only one kinda creeped out by this "hire a prentend internet girlfriend" thing? Or am I totally over-thinking this?
But hey... since they're only $5 a pop for playing girlfriend, once they get older, at least they'll be cheap hookers. Or maybe they'll be really fucking expensive since they think a txt message or a facebook wall post is worth $5.
